AstraZeneca Withdraws COVID-19 Vaccine Worldwide

AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine is making headlines again, but this time for a surprising reason—it’s being withdrawn worldwide. Why? Well, officially they say there are plenty of newer vaccines out there that target the latest versions of the virus. But we all know the real reason.

This decision comes after AstraZeneca voluntarily pulled its vaccine from the European Union market back in March. Now, the European Medicines Agency has officially stopped authorizing its use.

According to AstraZeneca, the demand for their vaccine has dropped because there are newer options available that are better suited to tackle the evolving virus. They’ve already saved millions of lives with over 3 billion doses distributed globally, but now it’s time to step aside for the next generation of vaccines.

This vaccine, also known as Vaxzevria, was a key player in the early days of the pandemic when vaccines were scarce. But with newer vaccines targeting the latest variants, it’s time for AstraZeneca’s vaccine to take a back seat.

However, as reported by GreatGameIndia earlier, AstraZeneca rebranded and changed the name of its COVID-19 vaccine from CoviShield to Vaxzevria. The move was because the company was struggling to convince people that the vaccine was safe amidst the controversy that AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine was causing blood clots.

Covishield Covid-19 vaccine was based on same formula and made in collaboration with the Serum in institute of India.

The European Union had called for an Emergency Vaccine Summit where more than 8 European nations decided to stop using the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine due to serious blood clot incidents reported in many countries.

Even, nerve disorder Guillain Barre Syndrome was officially added as a side effect for the AstraZeneca COVID vaccine branded as Covishield in India.

A shocking study also revealed the terrifying dangers of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines inducing prion-based disease causing your brain to degenerate progressively.

Meanwhile, American Federal health officials accused AstraZeneca of including “outdated information” and providing misleading data in touting the effectiveness of its COVID-19 vaccine in a U.S. study.

Earlier, China had ordered the arrest of AstraZeneca officials over charges of fraud. The organization had taken disciplinary measures against those employees and reported their offenses to the authorities.

Meanwhile, in a recent letter from Pfizer, it was revealed that a young boy participating in their gene therapy trial for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) has passed away. The trial, known as Daylight, aimed to study the effects of Pfizer’s experimental gene therapy, called fordadistrogene movaparvovec, on boys aged 2 to 3 years old.
