There has been a slew of massively faked tales on social platforms in the last several weeks, majority of which have been anti-Russian agenda. This is exactly how Zuckerberg is helping Zelensky wage a propaganda war against Russia.
Facebook stated it would tolerate ‘calls for violence against Russians’ after allowing admiration for the pro-Ukraine neo-nazi Azov Battalion last week.
“As a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine we have temporarily made allowances for forms of political expression that would normally violate our rules like violent speech such as ‘death to the Russian invaders.’ We still won’t allow credible calls for violence against Russian civilians,” a Meta spokesperson said in a statement.
Moscow retaliated by outlawing Facebook and Instagram in the country.
President Zelensky thanked Zuckerberg for siding alongside Ukraine in the “informational space” on Twitter.
“War is not only a military opposition on UA land. It is also a fierce battle in the informational space,” Zelensky tweeted. “I want to thank @Meta and other platforms that have an active position that help and stand side by side with the Ukrainians.”
In other words, by permitting pro-Ukraine rhetoric to propagate while prohibiting pro-Russia propaganda, Facebook is straightforwardly assisting Ukraine.
This is regardless of the fact that there have been a slew of massively faked tales in the last several weeks, which included the Snake Island fabrication and a false attack on a Holocaust memorial in Kiev.
“Facebook has helped Zelensky himself spread endless disinformation to try and con NATO into World War III,” comments Chris Menahan.
“Most recently, they helped Zelensky spread the lie that Russians attacked the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant with tanks and it was leaking radiation and could lead to a nuclear holocaust wiping out all of Europe (if NATO doesn’t immediately get involved in the war and start WW3).”
“They also helped Zelensky spread the lie that Russians attacked the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and were trying to trigger a meltdown.”
Despite genuine real-world violence aimed against Russians, Facebook decided to permit its platform to also be used to call for violence against Russians.
Last weekend, a man in Dublin rammed a truck into the gates of the Russian embassy, while one Russian cultural center in Paris was firebombed.

Garbage move from Facebook. As long as the West uses dishonesty in any capacity, they will always have enemies and never be respected. Ultimately it will all blow up in their face. No way around it. If they are lucky , it’s not too late to reverse course and repair the damage already done. Respect and reverence for Truth is the single most cohesive component of existence. It doesn’t matter if it’s called information warfare , influencing, propaganda , narrative diversity, whatever…. it’s still lying. Only bad things come from it.
