Indian Couple Earn Rs 12 Lakh Per Day By Selling Samosas

The beloved Indian snack – Samosa – changed the life of two individuals who set up shop in Bengaluru. Nidhi Singh and her husband Shikhar Veer Singh, two highly educated professionals who once had secure careers with high pay packages, made a choice to start selling samosas and are now earning way more than their high-paying jobs.

Nidhi and Shikhar who have been married for five years decided to leave it all and enter the uncharted waters of the start-up world and the journey has been tough but rewarding. They are now considering launching the next phase of their business.

Shikhar Veer Singh and Nidhi Singh first met in Haryana while pursuing B-Tech in Biotechnology. Shikhar later pursued MTech from Institute of Life Sciences in Hyderabad. When he quit his job in 2015, he was the Principal Scientist at Biocon.

Meanwhile, Nidhi was set on a different journey. She entered the corporate world and was very successful with her salary package was Rs 30 lakh at a pharma company in Gurugram. She had joined as a Business Development Associate and her first salary was Rs 17, 000.

The couple quit their jobs in 2015 and opened “Samosa Singh” in Bengaluru the next year.

Meanwhile, media reports claim that Mukesh Ambani’s chef earns 2 lahks a month, which is more than what most MLAs in India earn.
