Sevastopol, a major naval facility for Russia in the Black Sea, has been the target of a major strike on Wednesday night and early in the morning (local time). Videos on social media have surfaced of large fires at the Sevastopol shipyard, with at least 24 people reportedly hurt and likely fatalities.

Based on claims made by the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, who claimed that “Our enemies attacked Sevastopol” and that “The air defense was at work,” the initial reporting in Reuters and CNN clearly suggests a missile strike.

The huge fire is specifically located in Sevastopol’s Kilen-Balka neighborhood. According to Reuters, “A Ukrainian air attack early on Wednesday sparked a fire at the Sevastopol Shipyard in Crimea, injuring at least 24 people, the Russia-installed governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said on the Telegram messaging app.”

Four or more of the injured have been listed as being in “serious condition” at least.

Images on social media that are preliminary and unconfirmed appear to depict a direct hit on one or more military vessels that are berthed in the naval port.

Multiple angles of the attack’s aftermath appeared to indicate severe damage to ships and port facilities.

One or more docked Russian submarines may have been destroyed in the attack, according to open-source analysts.

Undoubtedly, a large-scale attack like this involved more than just drones; instead, Ukraine most likely used long-range missiles provided by Western NATO allies.

According to a statement released on Saturday by the Security Service of Ukraine, Ukrainian billionaire Ihor Kolomoisky, who was behind Zelensky’s Rise, was arrested.

The Biden administration is currently pushing toward giving Kiev either ATACMS or GMLRS missiles. Because of the potential for a direct escalation with Russia, the government was previously hesitant to provide these long-range systems.

However, this major assault on Sevastopol appears to be just another act of desperation. It appears that Kiev is “going big” on operations against Russian territory in an attempt to start a larger confrontation that involves NATO, which Ukraine presumably regards as its only hope in light of the counteroffensive’s failure.

There is one more noteworthy item that isn’t explained. On the day Elon Musk’s biography is out, Ukraine launches a major attack on Crimea, and at the same moment, there was a significant, worldwide satellite internet service disruption, the mainstream media desperately trying to paint Musk as interfering with Starlink in Ukraine.

The Starlink disruption was recognized by SpaceX on X at 20:33 ET, and at 21:39 ET, it was said that “The network issue has been fully resolved.”
