The FDA stated on Jan. 30 that there were no negative effects on postnatal developments. However, lab rat offspring managed to get rib malformations after COVID vaccination, reveals the Moderna trial documents.
Using the Freedom of Information Act, Judicial Watch was able to acquire information from Moderna detailing its COVID immunization experiment on animals, which revealed that some of the rats’ pups who received the company’s mRNA shot were born with rib abnormalities.
The 700 pages constitute a section of the official Biologics Licensing Application (BLA) package that a firm must submit to the FDA for approval.
The documents were examined by the media and former pharmaceutical executive Alexandra Latypova despite not yet being made public.
The documents contain test data demonstrating that Moderna mRNA injections generated statistically significant bone abnormalities in the progeny of rats given mRNA-1273 (Spikevax mRNA) dosages.
“mRNA-1273-related variations in skeletal examination included statistically significant increases in the number of F1 rats with 1 or more wavy ribs and 1 or more rib nodules. Wavy ribs appeared in 6 fetuses and 4 litters with a fetal prevalence of 4.03% and a litter prevalence of 18.2%. Rib nodules appeared in 5 of those 6 fetuses,” according to Moderna’s internal documents.
F1 stands for the rat offspring, while litter denotes the birth of several rats at once.
“Maternal toxicity in the form of clinical observations was observed for 5 days following the last dose (Gestation Day 13), correlating with the most sensitive period for rib development in rats (Gestation Days 14 to 17)” the documents state.
Unshapely ribs are referred to as “wavy ribs.”
In other words, 6 out of 149 baby rats had wavy ribs, with 5 additionally having rib nodules.
Only female rats were analyzed, according to Latypova’s findings (male rats were not treated with the Moderna vaccine).
The females were given a human dose of 100mcg Spikevax mRNA, 28 and 14 days before mating, as well as on days 1 and 13 of gestation.
“1/2 rats euthanized before delivery to examine fetuses, the rest followed to 21 days after delivery,” Latypova stated, “No numbers are provided for the study size.”
Furthermore, there is no study report, simply Moderna’s assessment of the findings.
According to Latypova, the findings were part of Moderna’s reproductive toxicology tests, which are the only reproductive toxicology tests for the product.
It is uncertain how the dose translates from people to rats.
“Neither Moderna nor Pfizer provided any dose calculations or justification information for dose selection in animal studies,” Latypova said.
“Doses of drugs, or especially biologics do not necessarily have linear relationships with toxicity or efficacy. It is likely a much more complex relationship and unfortunately not known at all.”
“Reproductive toxicology is the study of adverse effects of medicinal products on reproduction. The FDA requires reproductive toxicity testing for any NME to be used in women of childbearing potential,” noted Latypova, who has worked at over 60 pharmaceutical businesses, mostly creating and assessing clinical trials, many of which were presented to the FDA.

“No vaccine-related fetal malformations or variations and no adverse effect on postnatal development were observed in the study,” the FDA stated on the label for Moderna’s Spikevax vaccine.
“In a developmental toxicity study, 0.2 mL of a vaccine formulation containing nucleoside-modified mRNA (100 mcg) and other ingredients that are included in a 0.5-mL single human dose of SPIKEVAX was administered IM to female rats on four occasions: 28 and 14 days prior to mating, and on gestation days 1 and 13,” reads the FDA publication.
Pfizer Vaccine Also Caused Abnormal Ribs in Rats
Elsevier released a peer-reviewed study (pdf) in August 2021 titled “Lack of effects on female fertility and prenatal and postnatal offspring development in rats with BNT162b2, a mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine.”
The Pfizer shot is called BNT162b2.
Pfizer, BioNTech, or Charles River, a Pfizer contractor, were the employers of all the authors who contributed to the publication.
This study found a 295 percent increase (8.3 percent vs. 2.1 percent in the control group) in malformed ribs in vaccinated rat offspring, despite the publication’s claim of a “lack of effects” on postnatal offspring development. A significant rise of what is referred as as “supernumerary lumbar.”
‘This Was an Extremely Dangerous Warning’
“Skeletal abnormalities in the bony rib cages are absolutely important and were statistically increased in the rat offspring of the experimental group compared with the placebo group,” after examining Latypova’s assessment of Moderna’s BLA package, James Thorp, an MD board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as maternal-fetal medicine, told the media.
“In clinical obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine we see similar findings in skeletal abnormalities prior to birth that are extremely serious and often lethal. This was an extremely dangerous warning signal in reproductive toxicology studies and was never brought to the light of day to protect our global citizens. The CDC, Pfizer, Moderna, and the flagship medical journals of the medical industrial complex lied to the American public and should be held accountable,” Thorp said.
Thorp recently examined and confirmed the most recent data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) regarding the COVID-19 vaccines and contrasted them to the influenza vaccines, discovering significant anomalies.
The COVID vaccination is advised for use during pregnancy in order to “prevent severe illness and death in pregnant women,” according to the CDC website.
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists likewise “strongly recommends that pregnant individuals be vaccinated against COVID-19,” noting that comprehensive immunization of pregnant women should be a “priority.”
