UK Govt Tells Pregnant Women Not To Take The Vaccine

A study published by the UK government's Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency tells pregnant women not to take the vaccine because sufficient reassurance of safe use of the vaccine in pregnant women cannot be provided at the present time.

The British government has advised against the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for pregnant or breastfeeding women, conceding that "sufficient reassurance of safe use of the vaccine" "cannot be provided at the present time" for the public.

The results were made public in a thorough report (pdf below) from the nation's Department of Health and Social Care titled "Summary of the Public Assessment Report for COVID-19 Vaccine Pfizer/BioNTech," which was most recently updated on August 16th. The government's Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency published the study.
