Early Life

Kim was raised in Geochang County initially. A brother and a sister are among his younger siblings; he is the oldest son of the group. Kim had a singing career in his dreams while he was in elementary school. With his father’s encouragement, he began taking saxophone lessons in the first semester of middle college in order to further his musical career. Career

2013: Initial Phase of Career

2013 saw Kim make his singing debut with the label Big Hit Entertainment. Later on, it was revealed that he had been chosen to join the BTS group.
