The LA County Superior Court received a petition from Elon Musk's transgender daughter in April seeking a name change to disassociate herself from him.
Apparently, Elon Musk's own daughter is changing her name to distance herself from her father, one of the wealthiest men in the world and the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.
Transgender Musk's daughter requested a name change on her own behalf because, in her words, "I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form."
According to Reuters, the LA County Superior Court received a petition for a name change and new birth certificate requesting a change in gender identity.
The petition was filed back in April, but only now has it been made public by several news outlets.
