An article in The Toronto Sun has confirmed that four Toronto-area doctors have died within the first week of the fourth COVID jab rollout for unrelated reasons.
Four doctors from the Toronto region sadly passed away less than a week after Ontario extended its fourth COVID dose eligibility for those over 60 to all adults.
Dr. Paul Hannam, 50, of North York General Hospital in Toronto passed away while out for a morning jog on July 16, just two days after the second booster dose eligibility was raised.
Dr. Lorne Segall, Dr. Stephen McKenzie, and Dr. Jakub Sawicki passed away on July 17, 18, and 21, respectively, according to Trillium Health Partners, which manages several hospitals in Toronto's neighboring city of Mississauga.
