Major Study Confirms COVID Vaccines Alter Women’s Periods

The journal Science Advances published a major study that found that 42% of women with regular menstrual cycles said they bled more heavily than usual after vaccination.

Women have been raising concerns about the shots’ adverse effect on their menstruation ever since the Covid vaccines were initially made accessible more over a year and a half ago.

For instance, Marcie Smith Parenti described distressing instances from her own social circle in an August 2021 piece at The Grayzone that condemned the U.S. medical establishment for failing to research the effects of vaccines on women’s reproductive systems:

Their symptoms have included hemorrhagic bleeding lasting more than a month; heavy intermittent bleeding for four months; passing golf-ball size clots of blood; and extreme cramping, serious enough to land one friend in the ER.

Social media users criticized The Grayzone for spreading “dangerous disinformation,” “fearmongering,” and being “anti-vax.” In the meantime, the FDA and CDC’s response to the women’s concerns could be best described as a bureaucratic shrug.

The FDA and the three U.S. vaccine producers reportedly stated in August that “they have not seen evidence that any of the vaccines cause menstrual irregularities.” Despite acknowledging being “aware” of the complaints, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommended women to proceed with vaccines regardless of the date of their cycles.

However, a recent large-scale study provides important fresh validation of the claims made by thousands of women ever since the jabs began. As reported by NBC News:

“An analysis published Friday in the journal Science Advances found that 42% of people with regular menstrual cycles said they bled more heavily than usual after vaccination…14% reported a lighter period.

The study also discovered that many women who don’t regularly menstruate, like those who are past menopause and those taking specific long-term contraceptives, started bleeding unexpectedly or “breakthrough” after getting Covid vaccines.

The percentages of women experiencing irregular menstruation may somewhat exceed the actual frequency, according to the study’s authors, as those who had unpleasant experiences may have been more likely to take part in the study.

Kathryn Clancy, a biological anthropologist at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is one of the authors and has direct experience of the phenomenon. In her case, she had “menstrual flooding,” which is an especially heavy and prolonged period.

One of her graduate students had stated to her that she had “had the worst cramps of her life” following a Covid shot, which only served to confirm her concerns. Clancy immediately questioned if other women had experienced anything similar on Twitter in February 2021. A official research was started after many people said they had.

At first, she and the graduate student, Katharine Lee, planned to survey 500 women. That many people registered in a single hour. After resetting their targets, the writers attracted more than 165,000 volunteers from around the world. The results this week are based on an examination of more than 39,000 participants between the ages of 18 and 80.

If the menstrual changes are a precursor to anything more serious, that remains to be seen. However, many women who have seen them without receiving a side-effect warning from the FDA have undoubtedly been disturbed. For instance, post-menopausal bleeding is a sign of uterine cancer.

Why did the FDA not issue a warning? Due to the fact that those who took part in Covid vaccination studies weren’t even asked about menstrual changes.

The New York Times, on the other hand, cheerfully reassures us that “experts” believe there’s no need to be alarmed. Sure, the “experts” have already caused a wide-ranging public health catastrophe in the guise of fighting Covid, but ladies, believe them this time!

  1. I’m sure the feminine products manufacturers love this side effect! Sounds like even if there is no bleeding, women will have to wear protection constantly just in case there is!
