A drone has just missed hitting Air Force One flying the US President Donald Trump. The C-32A was landing at Andrews Air Force Base when the incident took place.
GreatGameIndia has been closely watching mysterious events surrounding the US President’s security. Earlier, a US Air Force helicopter used to transport VIPs and dignitaries around the D.C. area and also assigned the President’s security was shot at from the ground over Virginia. The incident occurred just a day before an assassination attempt on Trump was foiled by the Secret Service.

Now, it has been revealed by a reported onboard the Air Force One that the C-32A which was flying the US President just missed hitting an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) while descending into Andrews Air Force Base on Sunday evening.
POTUS was returning from Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster New Jersey when the reported near miss took place.
AFP’s White House correspondent Sebastian Smith reported on the incident shortly after disembarking the plane:
“@realDonaldTrump just landed at Andrews on AF1. Shortly before, while descending, we flew right over a small object, remarkably close to the president’s plane. Resembled a drone though I’m no expert.”

Jennifer Jacobs, the Sr. White House reporter for Bloomberg News tweeted that, “Multiple people on AF1 saw what appeared to be a drone just below the plane as we were descending toward Joint Base Andrews.”

The fact that the incident occurred just days after the helicopter assigned Trump’s security was shot at as well as a foiled assassination attempt on the US President has put the security services on high alert.
Meanwhile, a radical Canadian activist group has announced plans to “lay siege to the White House” next month and occupy it. The siege is planned for 50 days, exactly coinciding with the US Presidential Election.
