A 21-year-old Gujarat youth performing garba suddenly collapsed and died. The footage of the incident, which was apparently caught by a friend, has gone viral on social media.
In yet another unfathomably abrupt tragedy, a guy passed away during a garba night celebration, reports Free Press Journal. The man is seen dancing to the sounds of garba music before suddenly collapsing to the ground in the video, which is purportedly from Gujarat’s Aanad.
The event happened at the Navratri festival that Tarapur’s Shiv Shakti Society was hosting in Anand. Virendra Singh Ramesh Bhai Rajput, age 21, was promptly identified and taken to the hospital. India Today reports that Virendra passed away en route to the hospital, with medical professionals believing the cause to be a heart attack.
People have died unexpectedly after intense dance performances in similar cases in the recent past.
Previously, a 20-year-old performer died on stage during a live show in Jammu, while a middle-aged guy died while demonstrating his dance abilities at a birthday party in Bareilly.
