Ukrainian Snipers Arrive In Georgia For Explosive Coup Plot

Recently, reports have surfaced that snipers trained in Ukraine have arrived in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital. A source from the Russian news agency TASS claims that these snipers might be there to create a fake incident that could lead to a coup by opposition groups unhappy with the recent election results.

In Georgia’s parliamentary elections held on October 26, the ruling party, Georgian Dream, won more than 54% of the votes. However, four opposition parties, which support closer ties with the West, have rejected the results, insisting that the election was rigged. They believe the government is trying to “steal” the country’s future and align with Russia, a claim echoed by Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili.

According to TASS, officials say that Western powers are trying to create instability in Georgia following the elections. They allege that these powers will go to great lengths, including bringing in snipers, to stir up trouble during protests. In the past, similar tactics were used in Ukraine, where government snipers opened fire on unarmed protesters, leading to massive upheaval and the ousting of the elected president.

Georgian Dream officials have warned that the opposition is likely to provoke civil unrest similar to Ukraine’s 2014 color revolution. During that time, protests in Ukraine resulted in dozens of deaths and a new, Western-backed government taking over.

Meanwhile, a group of Georgian nationalists, known as the “Georgian Legion,” has been fighting alongside Ukraine against Russia. This group has been accused of war crimes and breaking international laws.

Russia, on its part, denies any influence over the Georgian elections and claims that the West is trying to interfere. Despite the opposition’s accusations of voting fraud, observers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) reported that they saw no major problems during the election process.

As tensions rise, many are left wondering: are these reports of Ukrainian snipers true? Is Georgia on the verge of another political upheaval? The situation remains tense, and all eyes are on Tbilisi as events continue to unfold.
