Ukraine’s Spy Chief Reveals They Tried To Assassinate Putin Several Times

Ukrainian intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov revealed that there have been several attempts to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin. He shared this information with the New Voice website, and the story came out on July 13, just hours before the attempt on Trump's life in Pennsylvania. Budanov admitted, "But as you can see, they were unsuccessful." He didn't explain where his information came from or if Ukrainian intelligence had anything to do with the plans.

Vladimir Putin has been the target of multiple assassination attempts, commander of the military intelligence service Kyrylo Budanov said on Saturday.

"But as you can see, they were unsuccessful," Budanov told New Voice, a Ukrainian website. The general did not specify the foundation for his assertion. Furthermore, he did not clarify if the preparations involved him or any other Ukrainian intelligence agency reports Yahoo News.
