If a Sunday article from The Verge is accurate, Elon Musk is poised to change the whole dynamic on Twitter.

Internal emails and sources with knowledge of the situation claim that Musk will soon begin charging $20 per month for "blue check" verification credentials.

According to the concept, verified users would receive 90 days to sign up for the service before they lose their blue checkmark and, in many instances, their standing as "respected thought leaders."

According to the reports, project team members were informed on Sunday that they had until November 7 to implement the feature or risk being sacked.
