After the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, shocking details emerged about the shooter, Thomas Crooks. Authorities found a remote detonator and explosives in his car, along with a bulletproof vest. Before the attack, Crooks acted suspiciously near security, yet managed to scale a building and fire at Trump, injuring him and killing a bystander. As the investigation unfolds, questions arise about security failures and what Crooks was truly planning, hinting at a deeper conspiracy behind the chaos.
As aspiring assassin Thomas Crooks was shot dead by Secret Service snipers at a Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, a remote detonator was discovered on his body next to his cell phone.
The detonator, a grey rectangular device with a keypad like a television remote control, was seen next to the gunman’s cellphone in a photo initially released by Pittsburgh’s WPXI reports Dailymail.
It was previously reported that inside the troubled 20-year-old’s automobile, investigating FBI officials found bomb ingredients, ammunition, and a bulletproof vest. According to CNN, the detonator was linked to the bombs.
When Crooks arrived in the area at about 3:00 p.m., he caught the attention of security at the event, which was held in the town of Butler, 30 miles north of Pittsburgh.
At least an hour before the attempted murder, the gunman was acting abnormally near the metal detectors and was later observed using a rangefinder.
At 6:11 p.m., there was a shooting at the demonstration. An hour later than scheduled, at 6:03 p.m., Trump took the stage.
Law enforcement has not made any comments on what they think Crooks may have planned to do following the shooting four days later, despite growing criticism of the Secret Service for their failure to safeguard the event.
After obtaining the exclusive images, Nicole Ford of Channel 11 disclosed that Crooks was observed by law authorities outside the one-story AGR International building, where he had shot the former President.
This further information comes as local law enforcement officers directly refuted Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle’s assertion that a Beaver County sniper team was stationed in the building where Trump was shot.
Tuesday revealed that the assassin had driven fifty miles north from his residence in Bethel Park, on the southern outskirts of Pittsburgh, and had entered the rally’s security area three hours before launching his attack.
When Crooks attempted to enter the site at 3 p.m., he set off a metal detector, and it was discovered that he was carrying a rangefinder, a type of rifle sight that marksmen and hunters generally use when they are getting ready to shoot long-range.
However, the official claimed that security guards let him in while monitoring him till he departed the restricted area shortly after.
After that, he vanished from view until just before 5:45 p.m., when a Beaver County Police Department officer noticed him acting strangely close to the outer boundary and snapped a picture of him.
A group of police snipers stationed at the AGR International building allegedly observed him outside three times in the minutes before the attack, according to claims made on Monday.
No action was taken, a law enforcement official told CBS, after one of the snipers first noticed Crooks staring up at the building’s roof.
One of the snipers took a picture of the gunman when he was spotted sitting down and staring at his phone after disappearing around a corner the first time.
When the sniper saw Crooks pull out his rangefinder, he radioed to a command post.
However, no action was taken until Crooks made a third appearance, this time walking to the back of the building, wearing a rucksack, and vanishing from view.
The sniper crew, unaware that Crooks was now scaling their building, sent in a second radio report with the information.
Before a Butler Township police officer confronted Crooks, he was on the roof with a gun for less than seven minutes, according to several sources, which Channel 11 reported on Tuesday.
After Crooks swung his AR-style rifle in that officer’s direction, the officer withdrew, allowing the killer to continue aiming at his target.
Crooks had no social media presence, so investigators are still trying to piece together why he did what he did. They are hoping that his phone contains some information.
But after the shooting on Tuesday, they discovered two remote-controlled explosive devices, three filled magazines with about 100 rounds, and a bulletproof vest in Crooks’ car.
Later on, at the home he and his parents shared, a third remote-controlled bomb and another bulletproof vest were found.
Concerns have been raised by the most recent discovery that Crooks was carrying a transmitter, suggesting that if he had managed to flee the roof alive, he would have been prepared to carry out his murderous rampage with the assistance of a second person.
Before leaving for the event on Saturday, Crooks had asked his boss for the day off a few hours earlier, telling him he had “something to do.”
The would-be assassin informed coworkers that he would meet them on Sunday at the Bethel Park Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
However, at the Butler event, a Secret Service agent made sure he would be the last person Crooks saw as he locked eyes with the killer before shooting him dead, graphic video has revealed.
Agents had him inside range when the 20-year-old, positioned 147 yards away, opened fire, killing Pennsylvania fire chief Corey Comperatore, gravely wounding two others, and striking Trump in the right ear.
A senior federal law enforcement officer told CNN, “They were looking at him while he was looking at them.”
On camera, spectators can be heard screaming from the base of the structure as Crooks fires towards the rally while staring closely through the sights of his father’s AR-style rifle.
Immediately after, there is another burst of gunfire, and Crooks is seen dead on the roof, while others below gasp in shock.
‘The Secret Service don’t f*** around man,’ one exclaims. ‘Holy s***.’
After scaling the building’s air conditioning system, he ascended to the roof, where MAGA supporters witnessed him “bear-crawling” with his rifle across the sloping surface and alerted the authorities to the potential threat.
One witness told the BBC, “I’m thinking to myself, ‘Why is Trump still speaking, why have they not pulled him off the stage?'” “Five shots ring out the next thing you know.”
At the Bethel Park Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Crooks worked as a dietary assistant, giving post-hospital sick and elderly patients food and attention.
‘We are shocked and saddened to learn of his involvement as Thomas Matthew Crooks performed his job without concern and his background check was clean,’ administrator Marcie Grimm said in a statement.
According to a facility coworker, Crooks wasn’t a “radical” and never voiced political opinions at work.
‘It’s hard seeing everything that’s going on online because he was a really, really good person who did a really bad thing, and I just wish I knew why,’ he added.
The potential assassin had graduated from high school in 2022 and was a registered Republican. Documents reveal that he gave money to a leftist organization that supported President Joe Biden on the day of the 2020 inauguration.
He earned an associate degree in engineering science from Allegheny County Community College in May, according to school officials, who were ‘shocked and saddened by the horrific turn of events’.
For the first time since the shooting, Crooks’ father Matthew was spotted on Tuesday morning welcoming FBI agents inside the family home.
Katie, the sister of Crooks, was described as a “hardworking” woman who worked as a waitress at a restaurant and as a janitor at a neighboring high school by a neighbor who said her brother assisted her in moving into her apartment three years ago.
Behavioral therapist by profession, Crooks’ father expressed his confusion at his son’s behavior.
Senators are scheduled to hear briefings from the Justice Department, the FBI, and the Secret Service regarding the inquiry on Wednesday. Tuesday night, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer disclosed, that the Secret Service comes under intense scrutiny for its treatment of security at the rally.
Republicans assembling in Milwaukee have been demanding that the agency answer for its actions, despite the federal government tightening security around Trump and other favored individuals.
Kelly Armstrong, a North Dakota representative on the House Judiciary and “Weaponization” committee, told DailyMail.com that “somebody, somewhere has a really, really a lot of serious questions to have to answer.”
Homeland Security, which is in charge of the Secret Service, is not in charge of the Justice Department’s investigation, which was established by President Joe Biden following the event.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz, a former chairman of the House Oversight Committee, remarked, “That speaks volumes.”

Of course he did!!! Just look at him….yep, a real bad one.
Sorry, like with every jew based claim (and everything about Trump is jew based, as they own him. Lock, stock, and smoking AR barrel!)
Making a claim like this needs sustantiation….evidence, and just like every jew based lie….there is no real evidence.
