Poland’s General Threatens To Bomb St. Petersburg

Last week, the former Russian President called for the sinking of Great Britain. Now, a Polish General has threatened to bomb St. Petersburg. Recently, a former top Polish military leader, Rajmund Andrzejczak, made a bold statement about the potential threat from Russia. Speaking at the Defending Baltics conference in Vilnius, Lithuania, he warned that if Russia attacks any NATO member country, Poland and its allies would immediately strike back at St. Petersburg, a major Russian city. This response would happen not just on the first day of an attack, but within the first minute.

Andrzejczak, who led Poland’s military from 2018 to 2023, believes that a Russian victory in Ukraine would have serious consequences for the security of NATO countries, especially those that share borders with Russia. He painted a concerning picture, suggesting that if Russia were to win in Ukraine, they could station troops in cities like Lviv in Ukraine and Brest and Grodno in Belarus. This would effectively surround Poland and Lithuania with Russian forces.

To deter Russia from launching any attacks, Andrzejczak emphasized the importance of taking proactive measures. He stated that if Russia were to invade even a small part of Lithuania, Poland would respond aggressively, hitting all important targets within a 300-kilometer range, including St. Petersburg.

In his speech, Andrzejczak stressed that Poland needs to lead the effort to stop any potential Russian aggression. He insisted that Russia must understand that attacking Poland or the Baltic countries would have serious consequences for them as well. To prepare for this, Poland is purchasing 800 missiles with a range of 900 kilometers.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed these warnings as nonsense. He claims that there are no plans to attack NATO countries and that such talk is simply intended to scare the West.

The stakes are high, and tensions between NATO and Russia continue to rise. With Poland making it clear that it is ready to defend its territory, the question remains: How will Russia respond? This situation is developing, and all eyes are on the next moves from both sides.
