Nigeria Launches Manhunt To Capture British National For Conspiracy To Overthrow Government

Two months ago, GreatGameInternational revealed that Nigeria had asked the United States and the United Kingdom to return its 2 tons of gold reserves. Not long after, a Western NGO tried to disrupt Nigeria’s biggest oil refinery project. Now, things have taken a darker turn—Nigerian authorities have uncovered a massive conspiracy aimed at toppling the government. A British man is on the run, accused of plotting to overthrow the Nigerian government. This feels eerily similar to what happened in Bangladesh and Venezuela, where the U.S. instigated a Color Revolution after their leader refused to step down. Now, it’s Nigeria’s turn.

A British man named Andrew Wynne, who also goes by the names Andrew Povich or Drew Povey, is accused of secretly setting up a network of sleeper agents in Nigeria with the goal of overthrowing the government. According to reports, he was planning to cause chaos across the country. Wynne is said to have rented a room at a place called Labour House in Abuja, where he set up something called the “Iva Valley Bookshop.” This was allegedly a cover for his underground activities. He also founded a school named “STARS of Nations Schools,” which some believe was also a front for his secret plans.

The Nigerian police are currently on a manhunt for Wynne, who is believed to be trying to overthrow President Bola Tinubu’s government. According to local news, Nigerian authorities have put together a special team made up of different agencies to investigate this plot. The investigation so far suggests that Wynne may have been working with foreign mercenaries, aiming to remove President Tinubu, who was democratically elected.

The Nigerian police spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, stated that the authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the activities of foreign nationals and local groups that want to destabilize the country and forcefully change the government. He mentioned that nine suspects have already been arrested. These individuals reportedly received large amounts of money from foreign backers to create chaos in Nigeria.

Adejobi further explained that Wynne was leading this plot but managed to escape from Nigeria, along with one of his local partners named Lucky Ehis Obiyan, as the investigation started closing in on them. Nigerian authorities are continuing their search for both of them while ensuring that the country’s security remains intact.

The world is going through a big financial crisis, pushing countries to find new ways to protect their economies. Gold, with its skyrocketing value, is now a popular way for countries to strengthen their financial systems. Africa, home to vast gold resources, understands this well. But there’s a problem: most of Africa’s gold is still controlled by Western countries. African nations are now looking for a way to break free from this long-standing issue, which stems from colonial times.

These stories reveal a bigger picture of global power struggles and covert operations, with the U.S. playing a central role in attempting to reshape governments and politics in various parts of the world.
