The use of microchip implants on the hand that record COVID certificate status is being advocated for by a Swedish biohacker who also advocates for human augmentation. The implanted chip could be accessed even from a cell phone that has the ability to display a digital COVID certificate.
“Get your COVID certificate in a chip in your hand or elsewhere under the skin. It is increasingly popular to insert a chip into the body with different types of information and now you can also insert your COVID certificate in the chip,” Aftonbladet, Sweden’s daily newspaper, reported.
Hannes Sjöblad, co-founder of BioNyfiken, a Swedish bio-hacking association and “Chief Disruption Officer” at Epicenter Stockholm, explained to Aftonbladet how he received a digital COVID certificate from the EU after placing his mobile phone on his forearm.
