  1. Two problems with the article:
    1) the number of crashes is less relevant than the percentage of flights that have crashed. AA & AF have a lot more flights than, for example, Pakistan International Airlines; and
    2) No one paying attention believes that “Russian separatist fighters shot down Malaysia Airlines Flight 17”.
