Leaked documents have revealed shocking plans by British military leaders to secretly push the Ukraine war further, even if it meant illegal operations and escalating violence. The files expose a hidden British group, named Project Alchemy, that worked to make sure the Ukraine conflict would drag on, no matter the costs. These documents show how this group, led by top officials from the UK Ministry of Defence, secretly planned covert operations to weaken Russia and keep Ukraine fighting.

The Secret Group Behind the War Plans
The group behind these plans, Project Alchemy, was set up by high-ranking British military officials just after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. They secretly met and devised ways to keep the war going and to make life harder for Russia. Their goal was clear: “Keep Ukraine fighting at all costs.”

They suggested using everything from cyber attacks, discreet sabotage, and even terrorism to keep the pressure on Russia. The British government seemed to support these plans, even though some of them might break the law. The leaked documents show that the group was willing to ignore British laws to achieve their goals, including erasing legal restrictions on covert operations.
Plans to Strike Russia and Train Ukrainian Soldiers
Some of the most extreme ideas from Project Alchemy have already happened. For example, the secret team helped plan the bombing of the Kerch Bridge, a major Russian supply route. This act of sabotage triggered a heavy Russian response, including attacks on Ukraine’s power grid.

The group also proposed creating a secret army of Ukrainian fighters who would carry out operations behind enemy lines, using assassinations, sabotage, and terrorist tactics to weaken Russia.

Their proposals even included training Ukrainian soldiers in Britain, to create elite forces ready to fight Russia using the latest weapons and tactics.
A Long War Against Russia
The group’s strategy was based on the idea that a long war would eventually break Russia’s ability to fight. They believed that if Russia could not defeat Ukraine quickly, it would make Russian President Putin look weak both at home and abroad. They hoped that prolonged fighting would eventually lead to a collapse of Putin’s government, making it easier for the West to take control of Russia’s resources.

But despite all these plans, Project Alchemy underestimated how tough Russia’s position would become. Putin remains very popular in Russia, and despite constant military aid from the West, Ukraine’s army is losing territory.

The Plans Go Further: Attacks on Media and the Public
In addition to military strategies, Project Alchemy also plotted to control information at home in the UK. As prices rose due to the war and people began to feel the impact of the conflict, the group knew that public support for the war might decline. They proposed a campaign to shape public opinion and attack critical media outlets. This included legal pressure on independent outlets like The Grayzone, accusing them of spreading Russian propaganda.
They also wanted to silence independent media and prevent the British public from hearing opposing views about the war. The documents even suggested using legal harassment to force certain media organizations to shut down.
A Secret Push for Global Control
The secret group even had grand ideas about how the war could reshape global politics. They thought that if Russia was weakened enough, they could push for a “Post-Putin Marshall Plan”, bringing Russia into the Western-dominated financial system. They also wanted to build a new global order where Western powers could control Russia’s resources, like gas and wheat.
They drew inspiration from Operation Gladio, a secret NATO operation that used terrorist tactics during the Cold War to prevent the spread of communism. Alchemy proposed doing something similar in Ukraine—creating secret forces to carry out covert operations and manipulate the situation behind the scenes.
A New Era of War and Control
The documents paint a picture of a powerful but secretive British group pushing for more war and manipulation, even if it meant breaking the law. They were willing to risk everything to make sure the conflict continued, no matter the cost to Ukraine, Russia, or even the British public.
The leaked files raise major questions about the real motivations behind the UK’s involvement in Ukraine and the dark, secretive world of covert operations. And as the war drags on, many are left wondering: Who is really benefiting from this conflict? And at what cost?
