How US Intelligence Suppressed Evidence Of COVID’s Lab Leak Origins

For years, the true origin of the COVID-19 virus has been a mystery. Was it passed from animals to humans in nature, or did it accidentally leak from a lab? Now, shocking new revelations suggest that top intelligence officials tried to hide the truth.

In the early days of the pandemic, three scientists from the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) – John Hardham, Robert Cutlip, and Jean-Paul Chretien – uncovered strong evidence that COVID-19 likely came from a lab leak, not from animals. Their findings were based on detailed research, but their work was reportedly suppressed by senior spy chiefs. These officials made sure that the evidence didn’t make it into an official report to President Biden in August 2021, which concluded that COVID probably didn’t come from a lab.

The Case for a Lab Leak

These three scientists were assigned to figure out where the virus came from. They found several key pieces of evidence suggesting that the virus wasn’t naturally occurring. One key finding: the virus had a special feature that made it easily spread to humans – a feature similar to something described in a Chinese study from years before. They also found that a Chinese military researcher applied for a COVID-19 vaccine patent in February 2020, just weeks after the virus was first identified. But instead of investigating these findings further, the scientists were told to stay silent.

The researchers believed that the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) could be linked to the virus. The WIV is a lab where scientists were studying coronaviruses. U.S. scientists had trained WIV researchers on how to build viruses without leaving any evidence. What’s more, the virus’s ability to infect humans seemed suspiciously similar to lab techniques used at WIV. But despite these discoveries, the intelligence community continued to support the theory that the virus had come from animals.

The FBI’s Bold Stand

The FBI, however, took a different approach. They were the only U.S. agency that concluded a lab leak was likely. Despite this, the agency’s findings were largely ignored, and their experts were kept out of key briefings, even though they had the most solid evidence.

Jason Bannan, an FBI scientist involved in investigating COVID’s origins, was shocked when his team was excluded from meetings with the White House. “I find it surprising that the White House didn’t ask,” Bannan said. This was especially strange since the FBI had the highest level of confidence in their lab leak theory.

Why Was This Evidence Suppressed?

It seems that some of the most important findings were kept from the public and even from Congress. For instance, when Senator Chuck Grassley requested the findings, he was ignored. The scientists involved were told not to share their work with anyone, including the FBI, even though they had strong evidence that supported the lab leak theory.

A Strange Death and Missing Details

The story becomes even stranger when you look at some of the details. One key researcher from WIV, Zhou Yusen, applied for a COVID-19 vaccine patent months before the virus’s full genetic code was released. Zhou died in May 2020 under mysterious circumstances – he reportedly fell from the roof of the WIV. This raised even more questions about what was happening at the lab.

The Suppressed Truth

Despite all this, the official report to President Biden in 2021 largely ignored the evidence pointing to a lab leak. The scientists involved were told to keep quiet, and the theory of the virus jumping from animals to humans became the dominant story. Even today, some of the key evidence remains unexplained or hidden, leaving many to wonder if the truth about COVID’s origins will ever fully come to light.

The Need for a New Investigation

Now, five years after the pandemic began, many are calling for a deeper investigation into COVID’s origins. The FBI has long believed that the virus came from a lab, and new evidence keeps emerging to support this theory. However, the failure to properly communicate these findings raises serious questions about the integrity of the original investigations.

The hidden truths about COVID-19’s origins may still be out there, and it seems like more will come to light in the future. Will the world ever know the full story?
