How The BRICS+AI Alliance Aims To Redefine Global AI Leadership

In an exciting development, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) has announced the formation of a groundbreaking alliance within the BRICS group to fast-track the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This major announcement was made by RDIF's chief executive, Kirill Dmitriev, at the AI Journey conference held in Moscow.

The alliance, named BRICS+AI, already has more than 20 companies from six member countries on board, including Russia, China, India, Brazil, Iran, and the UAE. These companies represent a wide variety of industries, such as universities, medical and pharmaceutical firms, financial infrastructure developers, telecommunications innovators, and manufacturers of electric batteries and semiconductors. Dmitriev revealed that over 50 companies are interested in joining this initiative.
