According to a secret report by US scientists, the Havana Syndrome is caused by crickets and psychosis and not some microwave weapon.
Earlier, a member of the CIA Chief’s team suffered Havana Syndrome symptoms during their trip to India.
Some US officials have interpreted the new Havana-syndrome incident as a direct message to the CIA chief that no one is safe, including the people from his entourage.
Now an elite team of scientists advising the State Department concluded in 2018 that the ‘Havana Syndrome’ afflicting spies and diplomats could not have been due to a microwave weapon, but their report (read below) has just now been declassified.
The report (read below) compiled by the JASON advisory group in November 2018 said that the sounds reported in eight of the original 21 incidents of ‘Havana Syndrome’ were “most likely” caused by crickets, and that it was “highly unlikely” the reported symptoms were caused by microwaves or ultrasound beams.
While “the suffering reported by the affected individuals is real,” the group concluded “psychogenic effects may serve to explain important components of the reported injuries.”
The redacted and declassified version of the JASON report was published on Thursday by BuzzFeed. It was originally classified as “Secret,” and was not shared with the National Academies of Sciences panel whose report on ‘Havana Syndrome’ was commissioned by Foggy Bottom last year.
The NAS panel concluded microwaves were the “most plausible” cause of the symptoms, which purportedly include headaches, dizziness, tinnitus, hearing and vision impairment, nosebleeds, vertigo and memory loss, among others.
According to JASON, however, “No plausible single source of energy (neither radio/microwaves nor sonic) can produce both the recorded audio/video signals and the reported medical effects.”
The recorded noise was either mechanical or biological in origin, rather than electronic, and the “most likely” source was Anurogryllis celerinictus, the Indies short-tailed cricket.”
This exact species was identified by University of California Berkeley researchers in January 2019 as the source of the mysterious noise, based on a recording released by AP.
JASON experts ruled out pulsed microwaves and ultrasound, in part because electronics and WiFi networks in the house where the noises were first recorded suffered no disruptions during the incident.
They concluded the noises did not correspond to microwave or ultrasound frequencies by calculating the power that would be required.
The Trump administration used the ‘Havana syndrome’ as a pretext to scale back the recently re-established diplomatic presence in Cuba.
It gained a life of its own in the CIA and the US media later on, with over 200 spies now reportedly claiming they had been affected – and rampant speculation that China or Russia may be using some kind of science-fiction superweapon to do this.
Just last week, the US House of Representatives voted 427-0 to pass the Helping American Victims Afflicted by Neurological Attacks (HAVANA) Act, giving the CIA millions of dollars to compensate the personnel affected.
In mid-September, a team of Cuban scientists announced that claims of secret sonic weapons were not “scientifically acceptable,” and there was “no scientific evidence of attacks.”
Unaware of the JASON report, they attributed the symptoms to some kind of mass psychosis on the part of the US spies.
Named after a hero from Greek mythology,JASON is an independent group of scientists that has advised the US government since the heyday of the Cold War.
“This is a high powered group of expert scientists,” former Los Alamos National Laboratory chemist Cheryl Rofer told BuzzFeed, adding that the declassified report “appears to be a very thorough scientific analysis, the kind which wasn’t done in the National Academies of Sciences report.”
“What is available in the report is pretty dubious about directed energy weapons, and pretty positive about crickets,” Rofer added.

If Cobbett does what it advertises, it must have underground facilities with NSA type gear that can broadcast and receive – pretty much anything (think “Five Eyes”). The large dish antennae could also focus energy to orbiting satellites or intercept any type of broadcast transmission. My guess is Havana Syndrome is caused by intense and high powered ElectroMagnetic Frequency (EMF) fields created by equipment located in the embassy. They should do careful EMF surveys of the embassies and grounds. I expect a lot of the equipment and building wiring is not sufficiently shielded.

I am writing on behalf of a group of victims (Citizens) suffering from Havana Syndrome and what the UN has defined as Cybertorture from Directed Energy Weapons. We hope to spread awareness, and to help pass laws against Cybertorture in order to prevent further abuse.
Recently in the news, Government officials on every continent including the Diplomats in Cuba, White House staff, a CIA officer in Australia, government employees in Vienna and the US military in Syria, over 200, have all complained of the effects of Directed Energy Weapons. Kamala Harris just delayed her trip in Vietnam due to Havana Syndrome. Cybertorture is a growing problem and is receiving attention. The crimes being committed violate every basic human right.
We need to have some government focus to make progress. Currently, there are no specific laws protecting humans from Cybertorture. When victims approach the authorities, they are told that they can’t help because there are no laws against Directed Energy weapons and Cybertorture. Victims are turned away when they complain, outcast by society and dismissed incorrectly as mentally ill. The victims are isolated and all alone as their lives and relationships are destroyed.
The victims need protection and for that we need specific laws against Cybertorture. It won’t cost anything to pass laws against Cybertorture, but it could prove to be invaluable because there is no one to reach out to for help when assaulted. Our human dignity must be protected and respected. There are thousands of testimonials from victims that are targeted which corroborate the horrendous experiences online.
Please request an investigation for the Diplomats, CIA, US military in Syria, and CITIZENS experiencing symptoms of Havana Syndrome. Authorities have not been listening to the complaints from citizens. Demand answers from our lawmakers because they are ignoring our requests to pass legislation against this type of abuse. Please keep reporting on the issue of Cybertorture and Directed Energy Weapons until the government addresses the thousands of victims in the United States alone.
In the short term, Cybertorture victims need urgent medical and financial assistance. However, the victims experiencing Havana Syndrome need permanent laws against Directed Energy Weapons, Neuroweapons and Microwave assaults as a long term solution. Finally, the victims need acknowledgment that they are being affected by Havana Syndrome to overcome the isolation involved.
