Former Russian President Calls For Sinking Of Great Britain

Dmitry Medvedev, a high-ranking official in Russia and former president, has made some surprising comments about Great Britain. He suggested a radical idea: to “sink” the island as a way to deal with the problems between Russia and the UK. This unusual suggestion came after a well-known Russian skier, Elena Vyalbe, shared her frustrations about how Western countries have treated Russian athletes.

Vyalbe, a three-time Olympic champion and head of Russia’s Cross-Country Skiing Federation, recently spoke out against the bans that have kept Russian athletes from competing in international sports. She expressed her anger about these restrictions, especially since they were put in place due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In a bold statement, she said that if Russia had “dropped a serious bomb” in the middle of London, it would have made everything easier, and Russian athletes would be welcomed back into competitions.

Medvedev responded to Vyalbe’s comments, known for his sharp tongue and bold social media posts. Instead of agreeing to her extreme suggestion of bombing London, he took it a step further. He declared that, while Vyalbe had a point, the real solution would be to “sink the damned island of Anglo-Saxon dogs.” This provocative statement raised many eyebrows and left people wondering what exactly he meant by “the problem.”

His comments are part of a larger context: the UK and NATO have been supporting Ukraine by providing military aid and financial help. In response, they have imposed strict sanctions on Russia. The UK was also one of 30 countries that pushed the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to keep the ban on Russian and Belarusian athletes, which was put in place after the Ukraine conflict started in 2022. Sports organizations worldwide, like the IOC and FIFA, quickly banned Russian athletes from international competitions.

In her interview, Vyalbe didn’t hold back her criticism of the IOC, calling it a “trash heap” that is not genuinely concerned about sports anymore. She emphasized that while sports have always had a connection to politics, the current bans make it seem like true sportsmanship has been lost.

As tensions rise and voices grow louder in Russia, many are left wondering what the future holds for international relations, sports, and the potential for more extreme ideas from Russian leaders. What do you think of Medvedev’s shocking proposal?
