Earth Greened 10% And Sahara Shrinked 700,00 Sq Kms This Century Says NASA Vegetation Index Data

According to NASA’s Vegetation Index data, the Earth greened 10% and the Sahara desert shrinked 700,00 sq. kms. so far this century. World is a greener place today than it was 20 years ago.

The 16-day-increment vegetation data of NASA from past 20 years was downloaded by Zoe Phin and her result says:

‘NASA’s Vegetation Index has risen from 0.0936 to 0.1029, which is a 9.94% increase’

“10% global greening in 20 years! We are incredibly fortunate!” Zoe comments on the results.
