Kerala HC says it has seen cases of deaths due to COVID-19 vaccination after effects. As a result, the Court has directed the National Management Authority to develop policy or guidelines for identifying cases of death caused by the after effects of Covid-19 vaccination and reimbursing the victims' dependents.
The National Disaster Management Authority was ordered by the Kerala High Court on Thursday to develop policies or guidelines for identifying incidents of mortality brought on by the side effects of the Covid-19 immunization and for paying the deceased' dependents within three months, reports Live Law.
Justice V. G. Arun noted that there have been cases where people are suspected of dying as a result of immunization side effects; in these kind of cases, the National Disaster Management Authority and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare are obligated to develop a policy for identifying such cases and reimbursing the victim's dependents.
