“Give Up Your Yacht Before Lecturing On Climate Change”: Bolsonaro Tells DiCaprio

The hypocrisy in Hollywood should come as a surprise to no one. But Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has something to say about it. "Give up your yacht before lecturing on climate change," Bolsonaro recently told DiCaprio.

Jair Bolsonaro, the president of Brazil, handed virtue-signaling star Leonardo DiCaprio a lesson on hypocrisy by advising him to "give up his yacht before lecturing the world" on environmental issues, reports CNN.

Notably, DiCaprio was photographed vacationing with buddies on the $150 million "Vava II," the largest yacht made in Britain. This vessel is expected to release 238kg of carbon dioxide each mile, which is equal to the amount emitted by a typical British automobile in two months.

DiCaprio tweeted that the Amazon rainforest had "faced an onslaught of illegal deforestation at the hands of extractive industry over the last 3 years," to which Bolsonaro...
