Project Veritas obtained video (watch below) of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) official suggesting that annual Covid-19 vaccine shots are on the way, even for children under the age of five.
Christopher Cole, an executive officer with the FDA and the chief of the agency’s Countermeasures Initiatives, informed a Project Veritas reporter that he is engaged in the “approval process for the various” Covid vaccinations in part one of a two-part undercover video series.
Cole stated more vaccinations are on the way for everyone in a video released on Tuesday, acknowledging the “money incentive” for businesses like Pfizer to encourage more vaccinations.
“It’ll be a recurring fountain of revenue. It might not be that much initially, but it’ll be recurring… if they can get every person required at an annual vaccine, that is a recurring return of money going into their company,” added Cole. The FDA official also stated in the video that the corporations it oversees contribute “almost a billion dollars a year” to the agency’s budget.
Cole added that even toddlers will be required to have their annual shots, while he admitted that there hasn’t been enough studies on the vaccines’ long-term effects on certain groups, such as young children and pregnant women. “Just from everything I’ve heard, [the FDA] are not going to not approve it,” he stated when asked how he knew such a mandate was coming.
The yearly dose would be “just like the flu shot,” according to Cole, and would be necessary when vaccine effectiveness “wanes.”
On Wednesday, the FDA issued a statement in response to Veritas’ clip, claiming that Cole “does not work on vaccine matters” and “does not represent the views of the FDA.”
Although US President Joe Biden has not advocated a yearly vaccination, Cole claims that Biden “wants to inoculate as many people as possible.” Regular vaccinations have also been proposed by Biden’s health authorities. Dr. Anthony Fauci, a White House health adviser, has been receptive to the concept of booster injections being required on a regular basis in recent discussions, but he has not backed yearly doses for everyone.
Last week, he told the Financial Times, “It will depend on who you are, but if you are a normal, healthy, 30-year-old person with no underlying conditions, you might need a booster only every four or five years.”
