US Jury Orders Alex Jones To Pay 45.2 Million Over Sandy Hook Hoax Claims

Alex Jones, the host and founder of Infowars, was ordered by a US jury in Texas to pay more than $45 million in punitive damages in connection with his assertions that the Sandy Hook massacre was a fake.

Jones was not in attendance when Travis County District Court judge Maya Gamble handed out the jury’s verdict amounts in court on Friday.

The parents of the schoolchildren murdered in the 2012 shooting will receive the money.

Twenty children and six staff members were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, the US, in December 2012 when a lone shooter with a Remington rifle commenced firing. He then turned the gun on himself.
