We all should be profoundly thankful that former President Trump was not more seriously injured in the contemptible attempt on his life at his Pennsylvania campaign rally, both for his own health and safety, and for what might be occurring right now in the streets of our nation, had he been seriously wounded, or worse.
We mourn the loss of life of a participant at what was to have been an energizing rally, intended to bring Americans into the electoral process. As a candidate for U.S. Senate, and a human being, I condemn this assassination attempt, and will be demanding answers as to how it occurred. Our nation is based on a constitutional presidential system, so threatening or doing harm to a president or a candidate for that high office constitutes a serious threat to our republic. I would encourage everyone to think very deeply about what just occurred. We cannot allow this to happen again.
On July 1, I warned of a possible threat to the life of the former president. (See “Sare Warns of Possible Threat to Trump” in July 2024 The New Federalist) I warned of this in the context of the failed assassination attempt against Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, who miraculously survived after being hit by several bullets on May 15. Like President Fico, former President Donald Trump is committed to bringing an end to the Russia/Ukraine conflict.
Participants at the recent NATO summit, held in Washington, D.C., adopted measures which will only intensify the war, putting the world in great danger. However, NATO is not unified. Slovakian Prime Minister Fico bravely spoke by video against allowing Ukraine to ever join NATO, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who has been meeting with world leaders in an attempt to bring a negotiated end to the war, also visited President Trump while he was here.
Meanwhile, it is obvious to everyone that President Joe Biden cannot possibly be running our government, and we want to know, who is? Most of our representatives, including Sen. Gillibrand, my opponent, have been doing nothing but continuing to fund the murderous war machine which endangers us all. Will they demand emergency measures to protect all of our presidential candidates, including President Biden, former President Trump, and Robert Kennedy, Jr.? There is much more on my mind as we enter a new period of extreme turbulence, but I think it is prudent to wait until more is known.
Since we are still in the month of July, I recommend sitting down to re-read the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, and resolve that government “of the People, by the People, and for the People shall not perish from the earth.”

On July 13, 2024, a 20-year-old man named Thomas Matthew Crooks shot at Donald Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump was injured and bleeding from his right ear, while one person at the rally was killed and two others were critically hurt. Secret Service agents quickly responded and shot Crooks dead. However, it was not the first; as documented by GreatGameInternational, this shocking incident marked the ninth assassination attempt on Trump’s life.
