Both the US and the UK have openly stated that there will be no "boots on the ground" in Ukraine. However, according to a French journalist who returned from Ukraine, the Americans are “in charge” of the war in Ukraine.
A French reporter who decided to come back from Ukraine with volunteer fighters informed CNews that Americans are effectively "in charge" of the ground war.
Georges Malbrunot, senior international correspondent at Le Figaro, made the claim.
Malbrunot stated that he had followed two French volunteer combatants who already had earlier battled against ISIS.
“I had the surprise, and so did they, to discover that to be able to enter the Ukrainian army, well it’s the Americans who are in charge,” said Malbrunot.
