India’s First Electronic Warfare Testing Facility

| Last modified on February 6th, 2019 at 11:07 pm,

India’s first Electronic Warfare (EW) testing facility is to be setup in Hyderabad by Defence Electronics & Research Laboratory (DLRL), a laboratory of the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO). DLRL is actively involved in the design and development of integrated Electronic Warfare systems for the Indian Armed Forces.

The proposed test facility will reduce time taken for testing and integration of EW equipment on airborne and naval platforms. Currently testing is done in labs using simulators.

In the 1965 war with Pakistan, DLRL successfully developed and deployed Communication CIPHER equipment and achieved total self-sufficiency in this field. Also the Battle Field Surveillance Radar (BFSR) was successfully developed and produced.

After the Pokhran Nuclear Tests in May 1998 DLRL was included on the list of Indian entities that were subjected to US sanctions.

“Development of indigenous seekers and radars is in highly advanced stage, probably we may not require import (of those equipments) in next few years,” Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister, G Satheesh Reddy said.

India in Cognitive Dissonance Book

For more than 2000 years a war is being waged for the control of India and the access routes connected to it. The Turkey Coup is the beginning of the end of the Great Game, as it is known. With Russia slipping out of their hands, the eyes were set on an unfathomably resource-rich country, which even after thousand years of non-stop plunder and looting still captures the imagination of one and all, thugs, thieves and robber-barons alike with her yet-unknown massive economic resources potential — that country is India.

India in Cognitive Dissonance is a hard-hitting myth-buster from GreatGameIndiaA timely reminder for the decadent Indian society; a masterpiece on Geopolitics and International Relations from an Indian perspective – it lays bare the hypocrisy taken root in the Indian psyche because of the falsehoods that Indian society has come to accept as eternal truth.
